Comfort Arch Footbed
All Blundstone products sport a breathable and washable comfort footbed made from soft polyurethane (PU), cushioned with foam and topped with a hardwearing mesh cover.
SPS (Shock protection system)
Blundstone’s patented SPS technology helps to reduce fatigue and soreness or orthopaedic issues in the lower back, feet and legs by enhancing comfort and foot support in Blundstone boots.
SPS MAX Comfort
SPS MAX has been created to offer complete protection and support for your feet, which comes from a specialised footwear sole. Blundstone’s boots are constructed with PORON® XRD™ – the world’s most advanced shock absorbing material for extreme impact protection. Boots which feature SPS Max Comfort benefit from a large portion of PORON® XRD™ underfoot. This, along with an innovative sole construction, helps to reduce fatigue and soreness or orthopaedic issues in the lower back, feet and legs.
SPS MAX with PORON® XRD™
Many of Blundstone’s premium styles feature the new PORON® XRD™ in the heel and forepart of the sole. This technology absorbs up to 90% of the energy from the impact of each step and acts as a cushioning system which reduces shock impact. PORON® XRD™ offers antimicrobial protection and prevents the growth of bacteria, mould or mildew to prevent against product deterioration from staining or odours.
Removable footbed
Blundstone boots’ polyurethane (PU) removable footbed is fully washable as well as providing added breathability and antibacterial properties.
Steel toe cap
Many of Blundstone’s safety and work wear boots feature a lightweight steel toe cap for maximum protection. Blundstone’s steel toe caps provide protection against impacts of up to 15kN, cut resistance against power driven cutting equipment and penetration resistance against tools power tools such as nail guns.
Toe spring
The Blundstone toe spring has been ergonomically designed to reduce fatigue of the wearer by adding an increased level of support.
Oil, acid and heat resistant
For those who need tough, hardwearing boots, many of Blundstone’s leather safety boots offer protection from heat up to 140° as well as being chemical resistant against solvents, hydrocarbons, acids, alkalis and fuel oil.
