Great British Game Week - Comforting, Care-free Casseroles

Last Modified On: Posted in News

Now I know this is the traditional day to sit down to a roast, and very delicious they are too, but to my mind there’s nothing quite as comforting as sitting down to a giant pot of slow cooked casserole for a late Sunday lunch – pop it in the oven in the morning and head outdoors with the family. This leisurely method of cooking is particularly well suited to older, tougher game – the meat becomes meltingly tender and the medley of flavours in the casserole are intensified: delicious!
