A big thank you to Jack at Game-to-Eat for supplying us with today’s tasty recipes and novel ideas for cooking a game bird. I love the idea of Beer Can Partridge - definitely one I am keeping up my sleeve for the next camping trip with the kids. You don’t need to wait for BBQ weather to try this cooking method though, it works equally well in your oven. Or maybe I will try their Woodfired Pigeon, the smokey aroma of cooking pigeon, lemon and rosemary over an open fire should certainly get mouths watering. If cooking in the great outdoors is not your thing, then what about Game-to-Eat’s Grouse Sandwich, a delicious late summer lunch or light supper – what better way to celebrate the spoils of the Glorious 12th?
