Hoggs of Fife offer a fantastic range of country and outdoor clothing for both men and women, including jackets, shirts, trousers, footwear, and headwear. Each category fits a little differently, so we've pulled together everything you need to match your measurements to the right size.
How to measure yourself accurately
Before checking any size chart, grab a soft tape measure and follow these tips for the most accurate result:
- Chest - measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level and snug but not tight.
- Waist - measure around your natural waist, roughly an inch above your belly button.
- Hips - stand with feet together and measure around the widest point.
- Inside leg - measure from your crotch to the floor for trouser sizing.
- Foot length - for footwear, measure your foot in centimetres and refer to the Hoggs of Fife shoe size chart.
If you're between sizes - especially in jackets or layering pieces, we'd generally suggest sizing up to allow room for mid-layers underneath. For fitted shirts and knitwear, sticking to your measured size usually gives the best result.
